Vegan Chocolate Fondue with Fruit Recipe

We had a little party yesterday and invited a few good friends of mine, one of whom is vegan.  I asked them to bring a dessert dish, and I would have never imagined that they would bring over something so delectable! This recipe for vegan chocolate fondue with fruit turned out splendidly.  The ingredients for this dish are very simple, and relatively healthy (in moderation)! I’m not a vegan myself, but I’m definitely open to trying anything involving chocolate.

1 bag of Enjoy Life vegan chocolate chips (semisweet)
1/4 cup Soy milk or coconut milk creamer (for this recipe we used So Delicious Brand Coconut and Hazelnut Creamer)
2 bananas, sliced
2 packages of strawberries, sliced
1 bag of seedless cherries
1 bag of vegan marshmallows
2 vegan rice krispie treats, sliced

  1. Slice fruits and rice krispies and set aside on a large plate.
  2. Heat up the creamer in a small saucepan until it is almost boiling.
  3. Start a double boiler, and begin melting the chocolate chips over it.
  4. Stir the chocolate with a wooden spoon.
  5. Slowly add the creamer to the chocolate mixture a little at a time to prevent it from seizing and clumping.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
  7. Note: If the chocolate starts to seize or clump, it's ok don't worry! Simply add more heated liquid and continue stirring it to get it to the desired smooth consistency.

Who knew that vegan chocolate could be so yummy?!
