Bread Pudding Recipe

This bread pudding recipe is super easy and so delicious for a quick dessert dish!


8 slices bread- preferably white, non-grainy bread- and sliced into diagonal slices.
3 eggs
2 tablespoons melted butter
2 cups milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 Teaspoon ground Cinnamon
1/2 cup raisins


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, melted butter, sugar, and cinnamon.
  3. Butter an 8 X 8 square baking pan (glass or metal).
  4. Slice bread into diagonal pieces and arrange in a criss-cross pattern in the dish.
  5. Pour the liquid mixture into the bread and pat down with a fork until all the liquid is absorbed by the bread.
  6. Top the bread with the raisins.
  7. Bake in oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and firm in texture.
